The “Noticed Amount” column identifies the initial dollar amount demanded by CBP, and the “Mitigated Amount” column identifies the reduced amount we obtained after filing a petition for remission or mitigation.
As the results demonstrate, we have successfully obtained full cancellation of penalties in many cases — which is extraordinary relief — and when cancellation is not possible, we consistently achieve substantial reductions that save clients significant money.
